Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I’m new at this! How can I help?
A: Welcome to satoshis treasure! Head on over to www.satoshistreasure.xyz and become acquainted with that website. Read the rules over there and join the ToshiCiphers Unity Hub Telegram group to quickly pick an active key to work on with others.
Q: How do I know if I find a key?
A: Start at www.satoshistreasure.xyz. Each of the clues usually leads to a website address. You then use a password provided and that takes you to a Key Page. That is where you collect the key for a given clue.
Q: When someones find the key, will they share the key with all the members of the group?
A: The idea here is to win together and reward the people who contribute to find a key. We are building a leaderboard to track and count the contribution on each keys. The prize will be exclusively distributed (according to the points), to the people on the leaderboard.
Q: Who determines the points?
A: The ToshiCiphers Core 18 worked hard to figure out a fair and just point system to allocate points towards those who help towards actually solving a clue/key. In short, the distribution is ultimately calculated with the collaboration of the key finder as well as the room the chat was occuring in. We will audit the fairness of the collaboration throughout the process. Ask an Admin or Mod for more clarification in our chat rooms.
Q: How much is a point worth?
A: This question still has an answer to be determined. For now, the point division is fair and just, and we promise the split of the pot will be based on this point system, fair and just as well. This is an ongoing, non-stop, and evolving discussion.
Q: Do I have to be part of ToshiCiphers Clan to gain points?
A: The short answer is Yes. In reality, we would like for you to be at least Tier Three ToshiCipher member. See here for more details on the Tiers.
Q: Is there one leader to ToshiCiphers?
A: No, there is not. We are comprised of 18 skeleton members who participate in a Parliamentary System for all important decisions. However, I would be amiss to exclude one Clan Member in particular who does this hunt basically full-time – Devon. He deserves some recognition for this.
Q: Parliamentary System? What’s that?
A: As ideas get raised on how we should do this, and in order for a decision to go through, at least 6 votes must be made in agreement (as not all of our members are always on). This means we watch, monitor, and audit each other as well as our members.
